I was just going to write about this.  ;D
Yes that is exactly the problem, the  I3DL2REVERB effect is failing with a REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG (class not registered) error.
So it is a bug introduced in the Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.3476.

A previous Windows 11 24H2 build 26100.2605 does not have that issue. Just like any other 23H2, 22H2 builds.

I already open a ticket at Microsoft regarding this. I added this information today.
Thank you

Hello,
I noticed since the Windows 11 24H2 update the reverb_i3dl2 effect does not work anymore. I tried on previous builds of Windows 11 (23H2, 22H2, 22H1) and Windows 10. Works as expected.
I do think it is a Windows 11 24H2 issue, not AudioDJ issue, but wanted to confirm.

To reproduce this, use the sample EXE Special Effects, load a sound, activate the i3DL2 Reverb effect. Win11 24H2 nothing happens, Windows 23H2 is OK.

Thank you

Hello,

The echo effect cuts off as soon as I load a new song, pause, stop..

Is there a was to have the echo effect continue (till it ends) after I do a pause, or loadsong in same ID?
Now if I load a song, add the echo effect, I get the echo, but as soon as I do a pause the sound stops, but also also the echo.

Hope I explained this well.  :)

Thanks

Ok I am replying to myself  ;)

The problem I had on the second PC I did my test was the StereoMix that was not enabled.

Not that it works, I will not use WASAPI too much feedback somtimes, and on some computers there is no StereoMix available.

Thank you

Hello,

I am currently evaluation your Audio DJ Studio component. I have modified the SpecialsFX sample to use WASAPI instead of a loaded sound.
I was wondering if the effects should work if I set the input to LOOPBACK ? Or I should always use CAPTURE?

I tried with LOOPBACK on a Windows 7, it it worked, I hear the FX I apply. But does not work on another machine (Windows 8.1), I just here some feedback if the device volume it set too high.

Both have a Realtec soundcard.

Is there a setting I need to change on the Windows 8 machine maybe?

I basically would like to create an FX software for anysound played on the WIndows system. Not just sound coming from the Microphone.

Thank you very much  :)
