Hello, i'm having an issue with my implementation of the AudioSoundEditorAPI for .Net. On my local system, everything is working perfectly, but for other developers, whenever they try to load a file, they get an ERR_GENERIC. Everyone has the required DLL files. Do they need to do a full install of the trial, or is it just an issue having to do with an unlicensed version? (We are going to license when we get closer to release). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

the problem is due to the internal protection schema: you are redistributing on the target machine the trial version of the component which cannot be redistributed outside of the development machine; by upgrading to the full version, which will install the licensed version of the DLLs, the problem will disappear.

Excellent, thank you for the quick reply. I'll have someone order the license right away!

Same error here. So I need to buy a license and it will work properly? I was hoping it work work in the trial first. I guess I'll upgrade now then if it'll fix this problem.

Hello,

yes, the trial version is for testing purposes only and cannot be used outside of the development machine.
As mentioned, the replacement of the trial version with the full version will remove the limitations on target machines.
