The x64 version is available as well on the link below:
https://www.multimediasoft.com/bins/AdjMmsEng13_64.zip
and you can use it to replace existing instances on your PC under the following folders:
* C:\Program Files\Audio Sound Suite API for .NET\Audio DJ Studio API for .NET\Redist
* C:\Program Files\Audio Sound Suite API for .NET\Audio Sound Recorder API for .NET\Redist
* C:\Program Files\Audio Sound Suite API for .NET\Audio Sound Editor API for .NET\Redist
* If your machine has a x64 version of Windows
   - C:\Windows\System32

In case you should have previously manually copied the multimedia engine in other folders or on target PCs, please, be sure to have them replaced as well.

Kind Regards

Hi Severino,

I have the issue on production systems where the AdjMmsEng.dll has version 13.1.0.2
I also have the issue on my development system where the AdjMmsEng.dll has version 13.1.1.6

I have checked it again because you did not have any problems:
- First try, timeout
- Second try starts within half a second
- 3th try took about 4 seconds but no timeout

I am going to see if raising the timeout value and updating to latest AdjMmsEng.dll improves it...

Best regards

Hello Patrick,

I've just tested the mentioned URL within the InternetRadio sample and it seems to play without problems: which version of AdjMmsEng.dll are you effectively using?

Hi Severino,

One of the thing where we use MMS for, is playing internet radio.
This always works without any issues.
But as of today the engine cannot open the streams any more and the control returns a stream_load_fail.
When I open the link in a browser (Chrome or Firefox) or in VLC, the links still can be played.
I guess that the provider changed something what results in a not able to open the stream using MMS

Do you have a more detailed reason for this stream_load_fail result?

One of the links for the radio station is https://20133.live.streamtheworld.com/RADIO10.mp3

Best regards

Hello,

this is by design. Volume automation doesn't take into consideration the fact that playback has been started from a position incoherent respect to the position of volume points.

Kind regards

Volume automation points are trigger when sound start playing beyond volume point position. Is this behavior correct?

Hello,

the code for saving playlists file is quite old and was developed at the beginning of this century when Unicode was still not well supported so, by default, pathnames are converted in 8.3 format: quite strange that in some case there are still Unicode characters saved, it could in some way depend upon the main language of the Windows systems.

Kind Regards

Hello,

I use the sample program "Playlists.exe" to save the playlist.
If I add songs from local user music or document sub folder which folder name contains Chinese characters, the file name in the playlist is only in 8.3 format.
But any other folders except the local user folder are normal
Please see the result below.

-- m3u playlist file
C:\Users\yen\Music\西洋\01-NOR~1.MP3
C:\Users\yen\DOCUME~1\西洋\01-NOR~1.MP3
C:\Users\yen\Music\sample\01 - Norah Jones - Chasing Pirates.mp3    <-- It is normal
D:\Temp\西洋\01 - Norah Jones - Chasing Pirates.mp3          <-- It is normal
D:\Temp\01 - Norah Jones - Chasing Pirates.mp3       <-- It is normal
