Hello Dario,

quite strange: could you be so kind to invoke the "Help/About..." menu item inside the VideoPlayerAdvanced sample and to report report us displayed versions for the control and for the engine?
Please, attach also a screenshot of the VidePlayerSimple displaying the issue.

Kind regards

Hello,

technically speaking the only difference is the source of the URL to play: in one case is a string parameter passed through code, in the other case is a string read from the loaded playlist. The remaining behavior should be exactly the same.

User interface components / Re: Windows 10

Hello,

from your private message that I read a few minutes ago, it seems that you experienced problems with our component after upgrading your PC to Windows 10: if this should be the case that you are experiencing, this could be due to the fact that during the upgrade some of the registry entries needed for our component to work could get deleted or damaged.
Our suggestion would be to uninstall and reinstall the full version of the component using the same credentials provided through e-mail when you originally purchased the product.

Hope this helps

Kind regards

Hello,

although we don't have direct experience with this kind of sound cards, the wav recording is probably limited to 8 channels because this is the number of "physical" channels reported by the ASIO driver: as far as we know, MADI devices transmit a certain number of "virtual" channels through one single optical "physical" channel: unfortunately our component is currently unable to split these virtual channels and store them inside separate channels into the output wav file.

Hello and, once again, thanks for your feedback.
Effectively the nature of the issue is exactly the same and now it should be fixed: I suggest to uninstall and reinstall the setup package that has just been updated on our server.

Hello,

thanks for your feedback: effectively it seems that this situation was managed in error but a new build that should fix the problem is already available inside our web site.
I suggest to uninstall the current version and to download and install the latest one.
After the upgrade, it would be very kind of you if you could report if the issue is fixed on your side also.

Hello,

could you be so kind to send a small sample project reproducing the issue? In this way it would be easier finding the nature of the issue.

Audio recording components / Re: RecordedSound.GetDuration64()
« on: July 15, 2021, 11:06:15 AM »
Hello,

as seen inside the "Dictation" sample, the best way to keep track of the total recording duration, including eventual mix/append/overwrite operations, is to catch the CallbackForRecordersEvents delegate, identify the EV_REC_POSITION event within its nEvent parameter and obtain the effective total duration from the nDataLow4 and nDataHigh4 parameters: please, note that duration is a 64 bits number so it should be stored inside a "long" variable. The EV_REC_POSITION event , as seen for the RecordedSound.GetDuration64() method, will only return the duration of the latest recording operation.

Hope this helps.
