Title: Video Playing with jerky Motion
Post by: Ravindra on July 15, 2017, 04:29:41 PM
Hello,

I have a PC with intel i3 / 8 GB Ram / Onboard Graphics Card.

I observed that the videos played on my PC runs with jerky motion.

Do you recommend to use Graphics Card to overcome this problem ?
If yes what min specification should be used ?

My videos are 1920 X 1980 resolution with MP4 and h.264 codec.

Thanks and Regards,

Ravindra.

Hello,

although I'm not a real expert about correct combinations of graphics cards and codecs, I can say that on board graphic cards are usually low price so their quality is quite proportional: in some case the bottleneck could be also represented by the driver of the card in use.
For video playback our components are totally dependent from DirectShow so the min specifications are always related to DirectShow requirements.

Kind Regards
