Title: Reduce audio delay when casting to a network port
Post by: PatrickVossen on July 03, 2017, 02:06:51 PM
Hello,

At this moment, when casting to a network port (using CastingWma..) and listening to it using internetradio example, there is a delay of approx. 5 seconds.
Is it possible to reduce this delay?

Best regards

Hello,

have you tried reducing the Internet buffer through the InternetSettingsSet method and its INET_SETTING_BUFFER_LENGTH parameter? By default this value is exactly 5 seconds so you may try to reduce it to a smaller value in order for the LoadInternetStream to reduce the loading time.

Kind Regards
