Remarks

The encoding mode used for WMA (Windows Media Audio) format during encoding sessions.

Supported values are the following:

WMA_ENCODE_VBR_QUALITY

Encode using the Variable Bitrate (VBR) quality specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.Quality property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Standard format at 16 bits per sample.

WMA_ENCODE_CBR_STD_16

Encode using the Constant Bitrate (CBR) specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.CBR property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Standard format at 16 bits per sample.

WMA_ENCODE_PROFILE_STD

Encode using the Profile specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.Profile property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Standard format at 16 bits per sample.

WMA_ENCODE_CBR_PRO_16

Encode using the Constant Bitrate (CBR) specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.CBR property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Professional format at 16 bits per sample.

WMA_ENCODE_CBR_PRO_24

Encode using the Constant Bitrate (CBR) specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.CBR property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Professional format at 24 bits per sample.

WMA_ENCODE_PROFILE_PRO

Encode using the Profile specified inside the EncodeFormats.WMA.Profile property. Encoding will be performed using the WMA Professional format at 16 or 24 bits per sample depending upon the chosen profile.

 

This property is used only if the EncodeFormats.FormatToUse property is set to ENCODING_FORMAT_WMA.
